CASE STUDY DETAILS:  Grande Tech Design, Inc. was established in 2005 and incorporated in New State. Current estimates show this company has an annual revenue of $30 to 45 million and employs a staff of approximately 60 to 75. Grande Tech Design, Inc. designs and builds Internet servers.

Recently the CEO, Thomas Richer, was challenged by Anytown's mayor to become the community's environmentally friendly leader as it has been its computer literacy leader in years past. Thomas assigned an intern, Martin Olgby, to research the problem and suggest some options. Richer's criteria are that solutions not require him to spend money, re-train employees, or depend on outsiders. When Olgby delivered his report, Richer glanced at the transmittal and the title page before making his decision to turn the editing of the report over to Rodgers & Associates. The report will form the basis of a legal position as well as that of a community voice. As such it should exhibit a professonal register, have a strongly visable and logical organization, and provide honest and well-documented information.

Richter needs a correctly designed and worded report with options and a recommendation that will meet his criteria and help Grande Tech Design have a  smaller ecological footprint and a larger community good-will imprint.
